In March 2014 the guys of Glow Music and I went on a trip to Belgium to visit a small village called Doel.
Which over the years has become a ghost town with an insanely decreased population from 2500 down to the last 26 local residents that have rather normal homes but are living in and surrounded by a post apocalyptic type landscape.
Because of the political issues that this village has with the Harbor of Antwerpen, the Belgian government and a neighboring nuclear power plant the future of Doel may be uncertain, but one thing that is certain is that Doel won't make way easy to an expansion of the Harbor of Antwerpen by being completely demolished .. We went there to shoot portraits for their Glow Music Agency.

The assignment was to follow a route and capture images of the people you've encountered.

My family and I have moved homes a couple of times in our life and I've wondered to myself who the people are that live in them now and to what extend they know me and of my family. I went out to follow my route of life and met them. This series is part of a different, extended presentation.

These are some of the images that I have gathered and created, in order to apply for the University of Arts in Utrecht, as for the School of Fine Art and Design - St. Joost in Breda. 

Both schools found me adequate enough for their study in photography. Yet only one could be attended. HKU in Utrecht it became.
